Can it be used for external sealing upvc?

Yes. It's been outside for 3 years now, fairly protected and not constantly immersed in water and out of full sun, and it's fine. My only gripe with it is it isn't Anthracite grey. It's lighter than that, mid grey I'd call it.

Can you use to seal around shower tray

Yes you can. Needs 24 hours to set before using shower.
