Goodthreads Men's Standard-Fit Wool Blazer

I needed a casual-ish sport coat for a restaurant that had a dress code. This paired well with a pair of chinos and a collared shirt.I really like everything about the jacket except that the sleeves are just slightly too long for me. I would ding it a star, but honestly, I just have quite short arms, to begin with, so I can hardly fault the manufacturer for that.I don't regret the purchase, just beware if you have T-Rex arms... you might have an issue.

Nice mid weight material and the wool makes it warm for my dad to use in the winter without using a jacket. Very well made and hope will last for many more winters. I would have given it 5 stars if it had shoulder pads. Overall, excellent jacket!

I wear this to work in financial services. Wore it to work today all day. I was surprised buy the overall quality of the jacket for the price. Sure not 100% wool but its very sturdy, soft and put together correctly. It is actually double layered in the front which makes it drape like a lined coat (google it). There a little break-in as it does form to your body the first day then it’s even more comfortable, like a pair of jeans.

I assumed this would be like most sports coats, with a sort of flat finished wool. Nope, this is fuzzy almost like a sweater would be. Perhaps there are some places in the world that people wear sport coats like this, but I've never seen them in the US. super bad look. also, they way it is cut seems very odd. I could imagine someone wearing this to have a very odd, alternative or ironic look, but do not buy if you are like me and thought "Oh, it would be good to have a navy jacket in my office as a spare/backup in case i ever need it. very bad look.

Nice color. Sleeves are a little too long, but that’s not uncommon for me(apparently I have short arms). The fabric feels great, and it’s surprisingly warm, too. I usually don’t like patch pockets, but I like this so much that I wear it daily.

I really want to like this. It does look fairly nice for the price. My wife even liked it.But, looking at this, I kind of expected a tweedy, woven texture to the herringbone fabric. Instead, it is a tufted texture, kind of like velvet or a very low pile wool rug. I won't say that this is good or bad. It feels nice. I suspect it won't wear very well with a lot of use though.The description of the sizing is dead on. This is the "standard fit is slim and slim is skinny" kind of sizing. If that works for you, you might be fine. In my case, it means the shoulders fit especially poorly, the sleeves are so long it's better to return this than tailor it, while the body is fine. I might give it a shot one size down, but I suspect the body might be a bit tighter. Your mileage may vary of course.

AWESOME Jacket!!!Bought it in Charcoal, just wish I could get it in brown or the other colors!Jacket is on the heavier side in terms of blazers, definitely great for the cold weather. Standard fit still fits kind of slimming, sleeve length is perfect.Really high quality made jacket!

This garment is constructed in a strange way from strange material. It is very bulky and hangs peculiarly on the body. If you are striving to look like an apparatchick from the mid 1960's; then this is the jacket for you. I would return it, but it might come in handy if I should ever attend a turnip harvest festival.

Este saco (bronceado) cae muy bien en la categoría de chaqueta Tweed (salvo porque no trae parches en los codos) con un estilo muy agradable y serio sin ser formal. Es gruesa y se siente muy bien al tacto. La talla es acorde para el caso de personas de mediana estatura.

Les manches beaucoup trop longues ont dû être retouchées. Le reste convient. Jolie veste.

Ich habe ja mit Blazern schon so einiges erlebt. Selbst auf die Größenangaben großer Markenhersteller war da kaum Verlass. Mal waren die Ärmel zu lang - dann zu kurz. Schon allein der Passgenauigkeit wegen verdient das Teil hier fünf Sterne. Das sitzt wie angegossen.Es handelt sich hier um einen sogenannten Alltagsblazer. Nicht zu besonderen Anlässen unbedingt tragbar, aber wenn es doch mal schicker und trotzdem lockerer zugeht, ist er die richtige Wahl.Gut, im Hochsommer würde ich sicher auf ihn verzichten, da das Material doch ziemlich dick ist und damit sehr warm hält. Aber für die gemäßigte bis kühlere Jahreszeit ist der Blazer optimal.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr sauber, nichts fiel negativ auf.Das Baumwollgemisch neigt auch dank seines Gewichts nicht zum starken Knittern, so sieht das Teil auch am späten Abend vermutlich noch fitter als sein Träger aus.Ich bin sehr zufrieden und gebe die volle Punktzahl.

Knock me over with a feather. A blazer, online, and it fits perfectly, and it looks great on me. Love the dark grey fabric, the casual design, the tapered cut and the fit...an amazingingly good fit. I usually have to have several alterations done on jackets...none required on this very nice blazer. Well done, Amazon.
