This was a gift for an uncle who loves Route 66. It has so many great pictures and unique things about the places that even he did not know. Very happy with the purchase.

Really like this book
Really like this book! It truly shows the "then" and "now". The author did a great job getting the many old photos and taking the new photos at very close to the same angle of the older photos. The stories and histories are very interesting and informative and the photos are well documented and described. My husband and I have found quite a few places we want to visit and a couple we plan to stay away from! It's a beautiful book!

Route 66 Then and Now.
The book just arrived and I took a quick look before I give it to My Grand daughter's husband when I see the clan tomorrow. I am very impressed! Great photos and narratives combine to make this a very, very good read. I will probably order a copy for Myself after I return home Monday.

I was hoping for more pictures of all the neon on Route 66, but otherwise it's a fun book featuring lots of towns along 66.

This book is nothing short of amazing. The history and attention to detail throughout is wonderful. I just got the book this afternoon and cannot put it down! Definitely a great conversation piece on a coffee table or just a great read for yourself! An adult picture book !

My husband and I recently drove the entire route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica ---- We took many pictures - this book is a great way to remember some of the places we were able to see and some places we did not stop at.

J'ai hésité à l'acheter parce que j'ai vu un commentaire de consommateur qui disait que les photos étaient si petites que ça prenait une loupe, mais finalement c'est un très beau livre, les images sont superbes et les dimensions sont parfaites, on les voit très bien. Un beau voyage dans le temps. Je le recommande.

This is a fantastic book on Route 66 then and now. Some fabulous photos. Having recently driven R66 from Chicago to Santa Monica this is a great reminder of our trip. Would thoroughly recommend.
