Does this come with a wire brush or a nylon wheel? and what would be the difference? does nylon wear faster?

Mine came with the nylon brush. The difference between the two is significant. The wire brush is much more stiff and removes more material, great for pulling out the sap wood and giving a distressed weathered texture and look to wood. The wire brush wears much quicker though I've gone through 2 and still have my original nylon brush. The nylon is great for cleaning, I use it for clesning up old reclaimed boards when I don't want to sand them. Doesn't do much in the way of removal though.

How many feet will the wire brush sand

Depending on type of wood anywhere from 100 to over 1,000. We have done thousands of feet of cypress with same wheels.

Is this recommended for use on a vertical concrete barrier wall to strip off peeling paint and adhesive? If not do you have any suggestions? Thank you

Yes it can certainly be used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Just make sure you are using safety glasses and dust mask because it throws the occasional wire off the wheels.

Has anyone used this for refinishing cabinets? Going from stain finish to painted on red oak.

The main purpose of this product (for me) using the included wheel/brush is to rapidly pull dirt and loose weathered/splintered wood off of reclaimed wood projects. In the case of my included video, these were 80+ year old doors off of an old building from Mexico. It has other wheels for various applications; however, I have never used it for anything other than pre-sanding jobs. There is no better tool I have found for this purpose. Best of luck.
