sa Review: Exactly what I was looking for... - I actually have a DJ/ PA system. I spent 33 years in AF Res. as mobile Communications/ Combat Communications, so I added the 9v battery, in a well designed 9v battery compartment...I was able to quickly test several XRL microphone cables, 1/4 Jack cables, Speakon cables, and some RCA...very easy to use, the testing was clear...and allows me to do the "wiggle" the cable" while the cable is under continuity test...looking for intermittent troubles.. The unit has a good size and weight for me to use. I think this is a good buy, plus..there are some refresher instructions on the back...which I really didn't need. But it was nice to have... The Item comes from China...but its works well, and I'm happy about the cost, and I did wipe it down, just in case....This was a good buy... Mave Review: Quick way to make sure your cable is good or not. - This is a well built (like the old fashioned meters that are still around after 50 years of daily use) meter. It is a go/no go type of tool. It works great! A few tips though: the battery compartment needs a little manual adjustment to make contact properly, determine the number of conductors in your cable before using (you won’t get a result for the fourth or fifth conductor in a three conductor cable). I highly recommend this tool. A real time saver at a decent price

Excellent tester for the price!
I’ve used both this tester and the previous model. Both performed as expected. I’ve donated one each to our local junior high and high school music programs. They are reliable, durable, and “student-proof.” :-)

Takes away the guessing game!
Very useful tool to check cables/wires. I love that I don't have to be guessing whether a cable is good or bad anymore, just plug it in and run the test and voila.
