Does this work on a early Chevy 5.3?

I used it on a 1966 283 Chevy engine. I found it easy to use and very effective. You will need a small wrench to tighten the tool into the spark plug opening. I ran about 40 PSI on the unit and left my air compressor running as needed.

Will this work on a small block Chevy 350 ?

YES! It will work on Chevy 350, 305, any small block. The two thread sizes it comes with fits most cars.

I used it, the high pressure tube blew out at 60psi on the very first use, the return window is closed, will you take it back?

If you're changing valve seals you only need 35 to 40 PSI.

Do you make a solid tube for when the spark plug is recessed several inches? Where a flexible valve holder cannot be tightened.

My spark plug is recessed about an inch if that and I used an old 3/8 wrench and bent the end so that I could get in to the recessed area and tighten the fitting. You do not have to make it very tight to get a seal. If your plug is recessed several inches, then I think the only option you would have would to be make up a tube that would slide over the air hose on the kweiny and use that to tighten the fitting.
