I purchased this in green about a year ago. The green looks the same in real life as in the photo, a very pretty, deep emerald. I’ve had the chance to wear this during many kickboxing workouts. I’m jumping around, spinning and turning, I am on my back working my abs, lots of movement. This stays secure during my whole workout! My hair reaches just 1-2 inches below my shoulder. I use this clip to put all my hair in a bun. My hair has medium thickness. The clip loosens a little bit during exercise, but not much, it is still secure. This clip is too pretty to use for exercise- you could definitely wear it to work or to a formal Sunday brunch - but it’s the biggest and strongest clip I have, so I use it for exercise. If they offered this clip in all black, I would buy it.

Well made. One odd thing is that there are points on the black part of the clip on the side of the hinge. Not sure what the point of it is and when removing the clip hair naturally gets caught. Also My hair isn’t that thick so when I put this on I can feel the back half of the clip against my head. I hated the feeling. Had to return.

This celluloid French clip is very heavy duty, holds a lot of hair, holds it tight and is pretty. I’ve tried many hair styles using this hair clip. It’s held my hair up and held it where I wanted it to be.I have very thick hair and this celluloid French clip holds my hair beautifully.

This hair clasp is very pretty but certainly not meant for fine hair- it slips and doesn't hold the hair in place. If your hair is thick and coarse or curly I would recommend it as it is well-made and very attractive.

High quality and as described. It slides in smoothly and is comfortable to wear. I may buy other colors soon.

it’s pretty but it doesn’t hold thick heavy hair. i have wavy, thick hair to my collarbones and this clip immediately starts falling out after i try to put it up. the spring simply can’t apply enough force to keep my hair in place. disappointing because i do like the look of the clip

The media could not be loaded. So many different ways to use this clip, I especially love it for a half up half down hairstyle :)
