This bottle is a beast. It’s incredibly rugged and feels like it could survive a drop off a mountain. I took it on a long trip and it kept my coffee piping hot for well over 15 hours. The 1.5 qt capacity is the perfect "sweet spot"—it’s enough to share but still fits easily in a backpack side pocket. If you want a flask that lasts a lifetime, this is the one.

First and foremost, this is the third brand of the thermos bottle that I bought with in a month. Unfortunately, the other two brands Thermos King 68oz and Fijoo were both returned due to unsatisfactory heat retention performance. Upon receipt of this order I've noticed that the cap has a little dimple on top and my first reaction was, Uh oh! This must have been dropped and returned. However, upon further inspection, the inside and outside of the bottle looked clean and new. But, I couldn't tell if the product is functioning properly just by the looks. Therefore, I called the company and told them about my concern. I also asked how did they come up with their claim of 40 hours heat retention, but, I couldn't get that answer while on the phone, although, I was promised, that they will get back to me in a few days. In the meantime while waiting for the company's response, I have conducted a simple test of my own using boiling water (212 degrees F), prep the thermos with boiling water for 10 minutes, dump the water, refilled the thermos with boiling water, secure the lid (stopper) and capped for 40-41 hours unopened. This test was conducted three different times within roughly a week and, at the conclusion, I am convinced that the "40 HOURS HEAT RETENTION" was, in fact, true! I was not able to cap the 212 degrees F temperature inside the thermos bottle although it was still boiling when poured, as the water was exposed to the room temperature. No matter how I tried, the temperature dropped 3 degrees before completely capping the bottle. Staring Temperature recorder: 209.3 degrees F Duration of Test: 41 hours Test conducted: 3X Ending Temperature recorder: 137.46 degrees F Difference: 71.9 degrees (209-3 - 137.4) Average Hourly Temperature Drop: 1.75 degrees 137.46 degrees F temperature is still HOT and will burn tongues! Note: The temperature of the liquid inside the thermos bottle determines the length of time the heat will be retained. The test that I have conducted convinced me that this 1.5QT Classic Legendary STANLEY Vacuum Insulated Bottle did, in fact, hold the "40 hours heat retention" that the company claimed. Furthermore, not only, that the product is of high quality, but also, it has a lifetime warranty! I love the color and I'm sold. BTW, I just received the TEST GRAPH from the company and it is similar to my test. The difference was, theirs were recorder in Centigrade, and just slightly higher starting temperature.

I love my big Stanley, it can keep the water cold and hot for a long time, you can feel the quality and receive a lot and hits and it can resist anything! Is easy to open and use. It is a big thermo so the design is perfect for what it is and the grip is great for what you get! LOVE IT 20/10

This is an excellent thermos bottle. Rugged and holds a lot of liquid.

The handle is sturdy enough. Ergonomics is good and it keeps warm a really long time. The pour through top/mouth is very handy and keeps heat in (you unscrew halfway and pour through the inner screw on top). It's good quality and is premium-ish priced. Has a printed logo to give a rugged feel (metal logo would be better). All things considered there are very few if any that you can get at this price point for the great quality. The bottle is not boxed by stanley so if it is a gift you need to get your own box.

This thermos is very solidly constructed and it keeps my coffee hot all day no problem. The cup screws on nicely. The lid is easy to tighten and secure. It does not leak. My only negative is that it drips when pouring, see video. I get a few coffee drips on most pours requiring a little clean up job on my desk. Still overall it’s a great thermos and better then my last one made by Thermos brand.

No thermos can compete with a Stanley thermos. The last one I brought was in 2003 and I just bought my second one - they last forever and are nearly indestructible. This model is very similar to my 2003 thermos, gets the job done keeping coffee hot for long hours. A great value, well made, highly recommended.

Muy buen producto

Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! He had been asking for a nice thermos for mornings when he goes to work or for early morning skiing, so I bought him this one from Stanley as I know they are a reputable company and will last a long time. The thermos is huge and very durable. It also keeps drinks hot for so long. Hoping this one stays around for a longggg time.

Good for family use. I use it at home. Can hole hot water for 24 hr and longer.

Been using this for sometime know. We use to store warm water for toddler formula through cold nights and days. Once filled, water stays around the same temperature for almost 2 days. Happy with the quality so far.
