A big, heavy, man pen. Works for those who like the idea of carrying a rugged metal pen for "survival" purposes, or those who just like having something quality that looks nice and will last a long time. Doesn't exactly write like the G2s you may know and love, but it still writes like butter. Clicks open and closed with a substantial feel and satisfying sound. It's like closing the door of a benz. Just a good, good pen.

I still occasionally sign wet signatures as my job requires me too. So I wanted to be professional and personally make myself feel good by purchasing this pen. It turns out very satisfying, the ink is good. Writing is smooth. I like the feel of a bit heavy of this pen. Pretty satisfied. I might purchase again as a gift for my friends

The pen screws together tightly with metal screw threads. The finish is flawless and looks nice. It isn't extremely heavy, but weighs just enough not to feel like a plastic pen. The clicky button has a little hole in the top with a blue indicator to show its retracted status, so you can glance down at the top of the pen as it goes in your pocket and know that the tip is not still extended. It requires Pilot's "center of gravity" refills (the short fat ones, not the long skinny ones). They are pretty good ballpoint refills, but you have no other options. Pilot's ballpoint refills are slightly thinner near the tip than most other brands which will not fit through the hole in the tip of the pen (e.g., a shortened Parker refill does not fit through). So unless you plan on drilling, be sure that you will be happy with an upper-mid-range ballpoint. I think Uniball makes a slightly better ballpoint, and a lot of people would prefer a gel refill of some other brand instead. Lacking those options makes me drop a star from this otherwise very good pen.

I have to fill out carbon copy load tickets for trucks all day and I’ve always gone through pens like crazy. This pen is definitely worth the money. It works great, writes smooth, and I probably won’t ever buy a different pen for work. Definitely worth the money

This is my second pen of this type. I'm a dork and like my writing implements to be of a certain weight. Not too light, but not too heavy. Well balanced. I really like how this fits in my hands. I also like the quality of the pen. I broke my first one fidgeting with the clip. Purchased the red one for a co-worker and she loves it too.

This pen feels great in the hand. However, the ink cartridge that came with mine writes poorly, the ink doesn't flow well and seems to be dry at times, but the pen is still new and the cartridge is still full. For the money, this is unacceptable.

This has been my favorite pen for YEARS. I go though multiple refills prior to misplacing it. Some have last 3-5 years Recently the clip on all the pens fall off after putting it in your shirt pocket almost immediately. They must have change the manufacturing process. I have bought 5 pens and all have failed the same way after 1 week. What a shame I gift this pen frequently .

If you're like me and you need a stylish and reliable pen. Then look no further. It writes very smoothly, fits in my hand nicely, and I've not had any cramps using this pen for long periods of time. It's lighter than I thought it would be, but it still feels sturdy. The bumps or the 'grip' for the pen are very small and I don't feel they help grip the pen any better. The only thing I don't like about the pen is if I loan it to anyone they want to steal it!!!

This is a decent ballpoint utilizing the smooth BRFN refills from Pilot. The Pilot MR ballpoint, which takes the same refill, feels a bit better in terms of heft and balance. But other than that, the Pilot Axiom is a good buy.

Nice pen. Nice feel, I don’t know if the refill that came with it, but it is not the smoothest, it drags a bit and leaks a bit. I may try other refills. But in general a nice modern pen.
