does this support all ddr4 memory or only 2666mhz?

" that memory will then underclock itself to to 2666mhz" That is not accurate at all. 2666Mhz is the officially supported memory speed by the CPU any compatible memory kit rated higher will need to be overclocked. A compatible motherboard with the ability to apply an XMP profile will overlock the RAM to it's rated speed.
