Installed a mini split from Home Depot, but needed to vacuum the lines before start up. This adapter set allowed my to use my 134a gauge set to connect to the mini split. Had to remove the schrader valve from adapter to get it to work, but not a big deal. Just beware you may have to do that too depending on your system
